Currently I work as a Support worker with a complex needs care agency, working shifts. However, my last live-in job was for a year from July 15-August 16 with a gentleman who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Unfortunately I have no way of updating my Word CV at present so please accept my apologise for the dates of employment being different from my personal statement for the above Live-in post. I also have many years of experience with a whole host of illnesses and conditions which is outline in more depth within my CV. I feel that my extensive caring skills would help me to excel in this role and bring my compassionate and respectful approach to caring to this service in order to enable service users to get the most out of life. I find that my gentle nature lends itself to encouraging a person to try something at least once and to evoke enthusiasm for to build life skills enabling a person to grow in confidence and therefore lead the fulfilling life that they want and deserve. Whilst working as a Carer I have achieved various in-house certificates including; moving and handling, first aid, food hygiene, development as a care worker, principals of care, support and protection of vulnerable adults and children, oxygen therapy, managing violence and aggression, UKICS level 2 Palliative Care, Health and Safety, MND, and training in Cerebral Palsy, MS, NIV and Gastro Feeding/medication administration I am willing also to obtain any qualifications and certificates that will help me to carry out my job to the best of my ability and help me to progress in my career. I'm also willing to consider any work pattern available to me. ...
