I am a healthy, strong and very caring woman. I am a fully certified yoga teacher. I have travelled to many countries where I trained in yoga and other self-development practises and I have devoted much time caring for stray animals. In my twenties, I worked at Saint Dunston’s and cared for blind service men. I really enjoyed this and made a profound connection with these men. I have also cared for my friend of thirty years, Mr Tim Lawrence. He has Parkinson’s and, since his brain operation approximately seven years ago, I have been on hand and helped him in many different and important ways. I was also my Mother’s sole carer for ten months. She fell down stairs at the age of 83. I moved in with her immediately and nursed her, single-handedly, back to health. I have a good sense of humour and am very good at helping people feel positive and confident. Hello, I'm an enthusiastic, caring person with a positive outlook on life. I currently work as a carer for a gentleman with MS who has a team of carers. I have also worked within domiciliary care in the Hull area. I enjoy helping people and find it rewarding to build good relationships.
