Dear Ms. / Mr. Decision-Maker, I am writing to apply for the position at your company as a live-in carer. I am a high school teacher of biology and chemistry. I would like to deal with people because when my mother was ill I had took care of her two for years long. I have a lot of knowledge in biology and several knowledge in medical science because I had been working with doctors. I am quite familiar in all type of houseworks (except for the ironing). According to my relatives and friends I am open minded, sincere and helpful man with much social sensibility and with quite good empathic ability. I have a driving license, but I haven’t driven for 15 years. (But I would like to drive if I can receive refresh training.) I have an English vocabulary which consists more or less 4-5000 English words but I don’t have enough practice in spoken English but I am sure I can learn it quite quickly.
