Hi my name is Cida Silva, I'm originally from Brazil but have been living in Ireland for almost 15 years, have recently become an Irish Citizen. I have a degree in Applied Social Studies with Applied Social Care, as part of my college degree I did work placement on the Disability Sector. My last work placement was with families that experienced domestic abuse, alongside on pursuing my degree I have worked as a Caregiver on the Community Sector. Since completing my degree, I have worked full time as a Live-in Carer. I'm passionate about empowering my clients to live at home, as independent as they can be. I do believe that I am the suitable candidate for the above position of Live in care assistant which I have worked, for the few years. While doing this job, I have been interacted with patients having different conditions which include mental health problems, dementia, learning disability, and autism. I have undergone various training which have enabled me to do my work. I am reliable, trustworthy and good team player in whatsoever I do .I have calm personality good character and qualities, self- motivated, results-oriented and a quick learner. I possess good communication skills. I have the ability to beat deadlines, and also show keen interest in tasks I am asked to perform backing them up with professionalism and experience achieved over the years from working in familiar surroundings.
