I first started working as a carer almost seven years ago. I believe that life should be lived to the full and that everyone deserves to feel special whatever their age or ability.
Over the years I have supported clients with a wide range of health conditions, including dementia, Parkinson's, stroke, multiple sclerosis, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, epilepsy, incontinence and sensory impairment; as well as providing end of life (palliative) care.
I am Level 2 Health and Social Care qualified, dementia trained, fully insured, up to date with annual training requirements and am currently awaiting an update of my DBS check, which should arrive in the next couple of weeks.
