WHO AM I: I am a South African, coming from Cape Town. I have a British passport, DBS certificate and a driving licence. I am a retired Biology teacher.
I have a tremendous zest for life and love sharing this with folk.
I am happily married with three adult daughters back in Africa. My wife also does caring here in the UK.
I am a committed Christian, Catholic, but believe all people need to find their own paths in life.
HOBBIES: My hobbies include a passion for flower arranging [I do belong to a flower arranging club in Cape Town], cooking, gardening, walking and the outdoors in general. I love classical music, reading and do watch worthwhile tv programmes such as David Attenborough.
I have always had dogs as pets along with the occasional chickens for my daughters when they were small. Guinea pigs were also the order of the day then!
