I would like to return to social care, my previous experience in social care involves a family member, where I became a full time personal carer for for a year and seven months. Acknowledging that I have no previous employed experience in this field, one of my immediate family members had a stroke and needed personal, medical and psychological care during their time of recovery. I was able to comprehend the issues and effects that diabetes type one can have on your health. This has given me the qualities of knowing how to help and assist individuals who maybe restricted to to certain things by themselves, but to not exempt their own abilities to be independent and self sufficient. It has also helped me to develop a comprehensive relationship with my relative, in which I know I can use with others experiencing the same health issues.
