I have a diverse background in caring, as I started of with child care working with young adults with autism or Down syndrome, many being non verbal. Through this job I became very patient and learnt to be strong through hectic moments, not to mention I learned to deal with people in general as everyone has different attitudes to the same thing. Further along my life when my Geography degree had finished, I decided to go into live in care, in a residential. This was a different setting entirely although the principles of patients still applied but because it was live in role I had to be more persevering. I also have experience in retail as I am currently working at Tesco, I however believe that I truly belong in the caring field, I simply needed a change as it is mostly what I had done. I now wish to climb further up into the caring career and hopefully become a manager of team, area or residential nursing home, perhaps even own a care home, we all can wish.
