Hi my name is Sarah, I'm A 47 yr old mother with daughter now at university and want someone new to care for. I have looked after elderly people with dementia and have some experience of MS as my mother in law and a best friend have had the condition most of their lives. I'm an amiable person who focuses on the individual's needs. I believe in caring for others as I would wish to be treated myself. I started caring by looking after passengers with special requirements when working as a BA ground stewardess. I have since acquired Care and MCA qualifications and am currently undergoing furthering training in conditions ranging from dementia to people with Asperger's syndrome etc . I enjoy helping people to get the most from their lives whether they like some quiet time indoors or to go on a shopping trip or day out etc. Recently first aid trained and DBS checked to work in a doctors' surgery and qualified as a foster carer which involved rigorous police checks etc. I like to treat people I care for as I would my own family and believe anything less is unacceptable.
