Hello, my name is Shannon. I am a regent BSc Psychology with Clinical Psychology graduate from the University of Lincoln. I have been a carer for people with dementia, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, as well as caring for adults under and over the age of 65 previously.
Keen interest in having a job which is not only fulfilling but meaningful also. Care work is something I find extremely rewarding.
Ensuring you do your job well in a caring and friendly manner is essential. I believe getting to know clients and socialising with them is just as important as carrying out your care duties such as cleaning and personal care. I love meeting new people and building up good client – carer relationships within my job.
