My salary expectations are £800 + per week as a LIVE-IN CARER.
My salary expectations are £15 per hour working as an HOURLY CARER.
I have no preference whether it be couples or single clients that need care.
I would welcome Complex care - PEG-STOMA-TRACHEOSTOMY, where further training would be needed.
I would like a working shift pattern of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off.
In terms of location, I would welcome work within WR11 but am flexible.
I have my own car with a full clean driving license.

No time wasters please. Only serious employers who feel they can offer what I am looking for, I would welcome to discuss further.

I can offer the following attributes in my professional capacity as a carer:
Empathy, Honesty, Flexibility, Compassion, Trust, Extremely Professional, Highly Motivated, Flexible, Adaptable, Ability to solve problems, Decision maker, Team Player, Excellent Communication skills

I am very much a people’s person, with an extremely friendly disposition. I believe that a big smile, compassion and trust have allowed me to build strong relationships with my clients that I have cared for, past and present. Having my own non-profit charity, I love animals. I enjoy assisting in gardens and can contribute to many household tasks besides personal care.

Presently I work 24/7 as a Live-in Carer and my working pattern is long term in oppose to working a rotating shift pattern with another carer. As a carer, supporting others in a caring capacity is a wonderful experience for me.

My present client is Tetraplegic, which has resulted in four-limb paralysis and as a result is permanently in a wheelchair, resulting in very specific needs. She requires constant assistance and companionship in all aspects of her daily life, to allow her to maintain as much independence, normality and well being, which is not easy. In my role as her carer, I have been required to provide daily care and assistance with a range of ongoing and medial care needs, making me highly competent in many areas to ensure my client is well cared for. Not only do I care for my client in my carers capacity, but I also have housework duties to perform, which include everything within the home.

Prior to me joining my present company as a carer, I have gained hands on experience in a personal capacity, whereby I have provided care, whilst still working, for my mother who had Multi-Infarct Dementia. During this very difficult period, alongside my family, we were able to provide full time care, in order to prevent her going into a care home. This was an extremely rewarding experience and one, which influenced my decision to pursue care on a more professional level.

I also provided care for both my in-laws, whilst working. Caring for my loved ones, enabled me to gain a deeper understanding of many conditions, which included:

• Arthritis
• Dementia
• Stroke
• Motor Neurons Disease
• Spinal injuries
• Broken limbs

In my role as a carer, I have been required to provide assistance with a range of ongoing and palliative care needs, making me highly competent in many areas:

• Personal care
• Medication administration
• Continence care
• Observing changes in behavior
• Dressing and undressing
• Ensuring attendance at all medical appointments
• Meal preparation
• Transfers
• Massages
• Toileting
• Household management
• Completing shopping tasks
• The provision of emotional support and companionship
• Facilitating hobbies and interests

I am a highly compassionate person, who is mindful of my clients needs. I have excellent communication skills that are utilized effectively in order to ensure all care needs are met. I am highly organized and fully understand the importance of time management and attention to details. I am also mindful of ensuring my clients’ dignity and privacy is maintained, and always carry out my work with commitment, enthusiasm and confidentiality.

In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, walking, reading, animal welfare, rescuing, and traveling. I like listening to world music, keep up to date with current affairs, documentaries, TV and social media. I also enjoy IT. I am a competent cook and am able to prepare a variety of dishes to suit the preference of my clients.
