We are currently looking for experienced and dedicated carers for the role of live-in carer. You will be responsible for supporting and encouraging our client to live as independently as possible.

You will live with the service user in their beautiful, rural home, providing companionship and support with day to day tasks such as meal preparation, light housework and administration of medication. Successful candidates will have experience with dementia patients as well as having previously been in a live-in care position.

Role Requirements:

Providing companionship and supportive listening

Ability to treat people with dignity and respect

Be honest, patient and have a genuine desire to improve the lives of vulnerable adults

Observing and reporting any changes in the health or status of the patient

*

Preparing meals

*

Prompting and administering medication

*

Complying with all CQC regulations

*

Working in accordance with Wilson’s Care policies and values

About you:

*

Live-in care experience (preferred)

*

Experience with dementia patients (essential)

*

Be reliable, caring and have excellent attention to detail

*

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

*

Hold a clean UK licence with access to your own vehicle (preferred but not essential)

*

An enhanced DBS check will be required

During the current Covid-19 restrictions, interviews will be conducted via telephone and video link.
