Live-in Care Worker

Radis Community Care – Machynlleth, Powys

The Radis Group is a well-established and successful family owned care company which has been delivering high quality care and support across England and Wales from 19 branches and over 20 Extra Care Homes since 2001.

We have an opportunity to join our National Live-in Care team which offers support to people who wish to remain in their own home.

For this particular role, we are looking for a female live-in care worker to support a gentleman with a spinal injury (C4).

The ideal candidate:-

• At least 6 months Live-in Care experience, ideally working with people with spinal injuries.
• A caring and bubbly personality
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• The drive to provide nothing less than excellent care
• Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
• Be able to commit to working at least 2 to 3 weeks on at a time.

The role will involve assisting our client:-

• With shopping, meal preparation and domestic duties
• With personal care, including stoma care
• By offering companionship and with activities and outings
• With medication, mobility and other care needs
